¿What can I do in my winter vacations?

Today, I’m very happy because Mr. Simon let me free to chose the subject of this post.

Well, I have decide to talk about the plan and ideas that I want to do in my next  winter vacations. To be honest, I’m not clear in this but I have some alternatives for travel in winter vacations. For me, it would be fantastic a trip to the south of Chile, but the person who accompain me prefer to go to the north, or other place not in the south of Chile. While I prefer the south of Chile, my travel companion consider too much cold this zone and prefer to go to the north. But I don´t want to go to north of Chile because distances are so long and the landscape is monotonous. I know it is beautiful but  last summer I was here and I think that it´s enough!

Another possibility is travel to Argentina. Certainly, I don´t know enough about places in that country but I think there are routes to travel looking pretty landscapes. I have a friend that went to the north of Argentina, Salta, and he say me it is beautifull: there are hills with strange colors. Besides the landscapes, in the north of Argentina there are a cultural wealth linked to the Aymara´s communities that are in this zone. For these reason, I prefer to take the bags and cross by Andes Mountains to arrive in some village of the north of Argentina.

Alternatives in Santiago

HEY!
Today, I have to talk about Santiago and its main places. Ir first, I have to say I did arrive in Santiago 5 years ago. I'm a "provincial student", especifically I come from Valdivia, and it`s very important to understand my personal experiences in Santiago.
To be honest, the first time that I visited Santiago I did feeling afraid and the city seemed to me enormous. Certainly, this city is too much expansive, but not necessarily we have to feel afraid on this. When I was arriving to the bus terminal in Alameda I felt very nervous and anxious. In general, my mother accompained me on the trip because both came to Santiago to visit my sister. She has lived in Santiago 15 years ago (aproximately).
Nevertheless, now I think that Santiago is a great city, with a lot of alternatives to enjoy. The problem is the expensive costs of this enjoy, because the places to visit are not for all the people. In this sense, is so relevant the fact of the distances in the city; I think it´s problematic for people living in the periphery when they want to get the opportunities of the center. The museums, parks, and cultural activities are concentrated in the center. For example, I like to go to the Forestal Park but not all the people can do it. Also, I like to go to "Quebrada de Macul" or another places outside the urban zone. But the people in general not adventaje these near landscapes.
I think that santiago offer some alternatives that people don`t know. And, on other hand, there are many alternatives that I don´t know...obviously. But I`m happy with Forestal Park, "Quebrada de Macul" and going to soccer matches on the stadiums.

When I will be 32 years old.

Such as any week, this Thursday I have to write in my blog. Well, also I want to do it...obviously!

The topic today is focus in this question: what I want to be when I will be 32 years old (10 years more because I have 22 years old now)?

This question is commonly elaborated by my family...and my mother ask me about that when I began my university career. Always when I heard this question I prefer not try to answer in right or say the really really true. But now I could try to be accurate. 

I think that 10 years is to much time to planning the future but I have a clear: I would like feeling young at 32 years old. Many people convert their young spirit into a old behavior. I don´t want this route guided by job and other concerns linked with the logical of getting money. I want to be a young student like now and continue in the way of carnivals, parties, etc. This answer is so obviously but in my case I´m sure that I want it. In fact, I will do all the things that I need to achieve this aim. At 32 years old I believe that will be accompanied with my actual girlfriend because I´m sure she is remaining young such as I want for me.

When I will be 32 years old I hope not only be careful with my young spirit but also related with young people through education. I want to be a teacher, a geography teacher sure! In Chile, geography is not a career focused on education but I think that in future the geographical knowledge will be valuable for educational establishments. One option is life in Valdivia where my parents but the importance of the place where I want to life is less than other things like job, girlfriend, etc. For be clear: this things are the main conditions to choose the place to life. If I have to forget Valdivia...well, I have to accept it.

Street art!

My favourite kind of art is graffiti although I recognize that I'm not very fan of graffiti and neither type of visual art. For me, graffiti is a very important expression of the life street; in fact, it´s street art. Through graffiti we can see social practices of the urban life and we can understand part of this culture. Often is related with periphery zones and marginalized people, but I think that in Chile it´s not always in this way. I think that is real the link between graffiti and hip-hop movement in this country but not necessarily involves marginalized people. Well, is my opinion (100). I have some friends that make graffitis in Santiago and I have accompany to take pictures. As like it´s a ilegal practices I have to be a fast photographer. But telling you the true: I´ve never made graffitis in the street...frequently I want to go to a wall and draw anything or write a message for the people whom is walking.
Well, if I have to choose a piece of street art that I prefer...I should choose some work of Picunches, a group of graffs that draw in Santiago, principally in Recoleta. Also they are part of a hip hop net that are in "moving" and creating good works of visual and musical art. Like graffitis not always are transformed to pictures and put on internet, is difficult for me show the best pieces or my real preferences. Nevertheless, I found a picture of a good graff...and I consider it could be the graff that I should choose.
Then: my favourite kind of art is street art and my favourite piece of this is a graff made by Picunches, a collective authors.
