My ideal Holyday in Argentina

Well, is very dificult for me imagine my ideal holyday, because it come to me a lot of images, landscapes and places where I want to go. Nevertheless, I have in my mind some alternatives. In first, I think that my ideal holyday would be in Buenos Aires. I have always been wanting to go there. I like very much the Tango and, above all, I love the argentinian soccer.
In all the cases, I don´t want to arrive in Buenas Aires without going around each city, town or village that present to me in the travel. For me is it important to know the surroundings to a place, not only get to it. In this ocasion the destination is Buenos Aires but I want to travel through the north of Argentina on my ideal holyday.
I've talked with some friends who travel through Salta, Jujuy and other cities in northern Argentina. In that area there Aymara peoples, with a very rich culture. A friend said me in that area the desert is so special. I believe him, and for this I want to know the northern Argentina ... but always thinking arrive on Buenos Aires.
To be honest, I feel appreciation for the Argentine and entertains me enough to go to that country. Therefore, my holyday would be ideal there.

See you in class,
bye!

Hello,

I'm very happy!...in this case I will talk about the main entrance of the movie 'HUACHO'.
I choose this image because my little brother was protagonist of this movie, and you can see him in this picture: he is the little boy at the middle.
I supose this picture was took the last year, because the movie was released at the begining of this year (March or April aprox). In the picture there are the three main characters, including the protagonist 'Manuel' and my brother 'Dusan' who is like an antagonist.
The movie was filmed in Chillan city, and its central argument is the representation of the rural life and the tipical rutines that are associated. I think that is a type of art´s cinema. However, I have to be honest and say this movie would be so boring if my brother didn´t acted. I say it because the movie is slow, although the fotography and the art production of the film is incredible, and shows the more beautifull landscapes of the zone.
Finally, I must to say that I´m very proud because my little brother and also my sister are dedicated to the world of the cinema. My brother is acting in his first movies and my sister is working in the art production of some national movies. And me...nothing more than studing geography.

I hope you like my post, see you in class!

'La Última Frontera' in Valdivia

Hello!

In this oportunity I will talk about my favourite place to go to eat or drink with a friends or a girl. Really, I prefer to talk about a place where I can invite a girl and obtain a incredible night.
Por that, I have choosen a pub-restaurant called "La Última Frontera" localized in Valdivia city. In this place I have had an appointment with some girls that liked me. Besides, this pub is the favourite of my ex-girlfriend, and she is very important for me. In "La Última Frontera" you can eat any type of sandwich, however I go there to drink handcrafted beer, such as "Baldbeer" or "Calle-calle". "La Última Frontera" is one-of-the-kind and, for this reason, many people go here at the night. Is a place for meeting, and frequently you can see peopole from different generations and the artists of the city too. Certainly, you can hear a lot of types of music, from rock to folk music. In some cases, there is live music and you can request one you like.
The last time that I went here, there was a singer interpreting Violeta Parra´s songs. Well, the atmosphere in "La Última Frontera" is very good for me and sometimes I invite to my firends to drink here. I'm fascinated with the handcrafted beer of this pub. If you stay in Valdivia and want a pub-restaurant with variously types of music and good handcrafted beers, you must go to "La Última Frontera".

Bye,
See you later!

SOME STEREOTYPES IN MY FACULTY

In my faculty there are many stereotypes that students recognize like own or tipical for this place. I don´t know if this stereotypes are tipical for my faculty or, on the contrary, are common for university environments.
Well, the stereotypes more common in this faculty are in refference to the diferent careers that coexist here: Arquitecture, Design and Geography.
For example, the arquitecture students usually are indicated as posh because Arquitecture is one of the most expensive career of the university and the students that enter usually have more money than Design or Geography students.
Also, the arquitecture students are indicated as crybaby or weepy, because they are always complaining for his academic load. They argue that never have available time; his common phrase is 'we don´t have time for sleep´'.
On the other hand, the design students are usually denominated like ‘sensitive’ person. This career is associated with women interest, so it´s expectable that these judgments prevail. While this is a sexist judgments, we cannot deny that the design, like a university discipline, is focused to people that likes the aesthetics and that haves particular sensitivities similar to women attributes.
At finally, I must to say that we, the geography students, are cataloged like ‘loose’ and ‘unruly’ because we have lower academic load with respect to Arquitecture y Design. And, also, they says it because we are present in all the marches, demonstrations and strikes.
